Kav Dafar is professional travel and landscape photographer with a passion for writing and sharing his love of photography with others. Leading photo tours was the exciting next step as it not only allows Kav to teach photography but also to explore many different locations to put all of that knowledge and theory into action.
Having grown up in London, Kav’s love of travel was first ignited on a trip with his parents to Istanbul when he was just seven years old. Since then he has traveled to over 80 countries on 4 continents. His photography journey began a little later in life while at university when he had to learn photography as part of his degree.
On graduation, he began working as an advertising art director whilst still working part-time as a photographer. It wasn’t until a round-the-world trip made him realize it was time for a to bring together his two real passions: photography and travel.
Bringing with him a wealth of experience speaking at conferences and teaching seminars as well as working in commercial photography and photographing high-end stock images. Kav’s images are represented by stock agencies such as 4Corners Images, Robert Harding World Imagery and Getty and they have been used in publications such as Condé Nast, National Geographic, Wanderlust travel magazine, Lonely Planet, Rough Guides, Daily Mail, Sunday Times Travel, and many more.
