Last year I took the Luminar Neo course at DMP and because I was very satisfied with that, I also wanted to take the portrait photography course. I’m even more excited about that. The structure of the course is very systematic. After each lesson you can take a quiz to test whether you have understood the material correctly. What I really like is that this course also includes a syllabus of more than 200 pages where you can look up things if desired. Many of the lessons contain links to videos and blogs, for example with tips for purchasing equipment. Some of the things I learned in this course can also benefit me in other forms of photography. Once again an excellent investment. Compliments to the teachers Darlene and Bruce!

It was an excellent Course. Even though portrait photography isn’t my thing I learned so many things that I can apply in different settings.
I never knew that there is so much to know about light and camera setting.

An excellent Portrait Photography course full of indepth knowledge and expertise, communicated in a clear, concise and professional manner. The course provides details on the use of ambient and flash light, both indoors and outside, giving examples of both. The course also covers the various types of equipment that is available and how it is used. This course is an ideal source of reference for portrait photography, that can viewed time and time again to gain new knowledge on the subject.

    Hi Darlene,
I would like to pass on my sincere compliments in appreciation of your fantastic Portrait Photography Fundamentals course. I found it remarkable in its’ clarification of what are sometimes confusing concepts of photography and your logical and detailed explanations were a treat. It covered everything I needed to know and more. As mentioned the sequencing was logical and explanations were great but even better were the course notes and checklists ensuring that correct reinforcement of processes could be made. Correct reinforcement is an essential part of learning any new process and is often overlooked by others.
Thanks again for your wonderful enlightening course.
I consider it worth every penny and more!

    Andrew
